For this years Craft+Design Canberra Festivals Open Studio I will be joined by Sara Hogwood ceramics at Sanctuary Canberra.

My studio will be open for you to visit and try some collage and have a chat about art.

In the main room both Sara Hogwood and I will have ceramic stalls set up for some early Christmas shopping with jewellery and paintings as well. As always I will have a SALE table also.

Sanctuary Canberra is a peaceful place with gorgeous natural light, perfect for your next event. Come and have a cuppa with Lauren Harkness our host to find more about Sanctuary or At Her Table a place for women to connect.

The Craft + Design Canberra annual members exhibition will showcase contemporary expressions of craft and design uniting time-honoured techniques with modern interpretations. This is a showcase exhibition demonstrating the trends in contemporary craft and design in Australia by practitioners from the ACT and surrounding region.

Stay in a temporarily themed artisan-curated Handmade hotel room experience combing the best of Handmade’s Australian makers and designers, with the well-appointed Dec Hotel Canberra.

This is a limited-time immersive creators experience, available from 30 June - 28 July 2023, where almost all of the hotel room’s hard and soft furnishings, decorative items, food, beverages and toiletries have been removed and replaced with Handmade Canberra Market Stallholders creations.

Not only can you stay in the room, but you can actually buy any of the Handmade items within the room, either enjoying them during your stay or to take home with you, including some of my vases and paintings.

I am proud to be showing two of my paintings at the The Fifty Squared Art at the Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne. The prize showcases artists at all stages of their career, from emerging (that’s me!) to established from Australia and beyond.

The opening celebration is Friday 30th June 6-9pm
